The Lighthouse Hotel is a boutique hotel on the surf coast of Australia. We developed a concept inspired by slow living and the attentive care offered to each guest. We hand-cut and scanned a series of shapes drawn from the location: an emblematic lighthouse, a cockatoo, a sunset, a carafe, and a glass. This process reflected the tactile, grounded essence of the brand. Originally conceived for one of our clients, this concept was ultimately set aside in favour of a direction better suited to their audience. Yet, we felt this creative exploration was too special not to share.
