Built in 1876 and known by several names throughout its history, Hotel Allen has remained a local Townsville icon for almost 150 years. Hotel Allen offers a relaxed pub for mates catching up over a cold beer and families enjoying a casual meal, and the possibility to stay for visitors looking to experience the charm of regional Queensland. We partnered with Australian Venue Co. working closely with their marketing team to develop the brand experience for both the pub and the motel. Reimagined with a nod to its heritage, the visual identity balances a retro-Queensland feel with a playful sense of character. The crafted logo, bold typography and vibrant colours work together to create a welcoming atmosphere. The bespoke illustrations draw inspiration from the local surroundings. We also developed a dedicated accommodation sub-brand, adapting the colour palette to create a distinct yet connected guest experience. The result is an inviting destination that stands apart from competitors and leaves guests with something to smile about.
